The staff at Robinson Fin on US 68 just south of Kenton is being credited for quickly extinguishing a fire before it spread at the plant this (Tuesday) morning.
According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at around 7:40 after a transformer in the building caught on fire.
The staff acted quickly and had the fire out when firefighters arrived, which resulted in minimal damage, however the value of the transformer was listed at around $10,000.
The employees were evacuated from the building as a precaution, and there were no injuries.
Firefighters were on the scene for under an hour.
