Safe Sitter Course Offered at Hardin Northern

A Safe Sitter course is being offered for 5th through 8th grade students at Hardin Northern.

The course will take place at the school from 3:30-5:30 PM on February 14th & 21st, and attendance is required at both sessions. 

It is designed to prepare students to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting.

OSU Extension Educator Jamie Dellifield is the instructor who will have fun games and role-playing exercises.

Students will even get the chance to use mannequins to practice rescue skills like choking rescue and CPR.
