Second Round State Disaster Relief Program Recipients Announced

The Ohio Emergency Management Agency announced second round reimbursements of over $3.4 million from the State Disaster Relief Program for areas around the state impacted by severe storms last year.

The reimbursement program can be used where storm damage amounts do not meet the threshold for federal assistance. 

The program is intended to provide supplemental state assistance to local governments and eligible non-profit organizations for costs associated with debris removal, emergency protective measures, and permanent work.

In our region, the City of Bellefontaine in Logan County received nearly $22,000.
