Semi Accident in Allen County Leaves Columbus Grove Man Seriously Injured Monday Morning

A Columbus Grove man was seriously injured in an accident involving a semi that occurred Monday morning on Redd Road in Allen County.

According to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 77-year-old Carl Dugger lost control of the semi, which ended up of the left side of the road and overturned.

Dugger was trapped inside the vehicle and suffered life threatening injuries.

He was transported to Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima. 

Redd Road was closed for several hours due to debris in the roadway.

The crash remains under investigation.
