Several Food Distributions Events Taking Place Around the Region

The West Ohio Food Bank announced several food distribution events around the region over the next few days.

One will be held in Wapakoneta at the Victory Center Church of God from 9 until 11 Saturday morning.

QUALIFICATIONS TO RECEIVE FOOD

.Only 2 households per vehicle

.Ensure space in trunk to load food into

.MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER

.HAVE A VALID PHOTO I.D.

.BE AT OR BELOW 230% OF THE FEDERAL POVERTY GUIDELINES

Another one is also Saturday morning from 9-11 at St. John’s Mennonite Church in Pandora.

Residents in nearby Hancock and Allen Counties can also attend that one.

QUALIFICATIONS TO RECEIVE FOOD:

.MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER

.HAVE A VALID PHOTO I.D. and PROOF OF RESIDENCY

.BE AT OR BELOW 230% OF THE FEDERAL POVERTY GUIDELINES

.SIGN or CHECK IN ON A SELF-DECLARATION ELIGIBILITY TO TAKE FOOD HOME FORM

A food distribution event will also be held Monday May 17 from 10am until 3pm on Monday May 17.

COVID-19 vaccinations will also be given at the Allen County event.

If those attending just want the vaccine and not the food, a designated area will be set up.

The vaccine is provided by Health Partners of Western Ohio and will be given while supplies last.
