Sheriff’s Awards and Appreciation Banquet Held Last Week

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office conducted its annual Sheriff’s Awards and Appreciation Banquet last week.  

The guest speaker for the event was Union County Sheriff Jamie Patton.  

Numerous awards were presented including 2023 Deputy of the Year to Deputy Christopher Fannon; 2023 Telecommunicator of the Year Dispatcher Jennifer Miller; Individual Commendation awards to: Deputies Mark Ellis, Aric LaRue, Dalton Tron and  Sgt. Rich Williams.

A special “True Leader” award was presented by the staff to Sheriff Keith Everhart who joined-in via video link.
