Shots Fired During Armed Robbery in Findlay

An armed robbery was reported to Findlay Police Tuesday evening.

According to a release, officers were dispatched to a residence on Brookside Drive where they discovered that suspects fired a handgun.  

The occupants at the house stated that four black males were visiting them and playing video games, when the suspects brandished a handgun, fired one round into the ceiling and started to bind one of the resident’s hands.  

A rifle was taken from the residence along with a small safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash. 

No injuries were reported by the residents. 

Two of the suspects then fled the home in a vehicle, and the other two left on foot.

All of them travelled east on Blanchard Avenue.  

Some suspects have been generated, but none of them have been located.

The investigation continues.
