Skeletal Remains Found Were that of an Animal

Investigators were on the scene at a residence in the  800 block of South Detroit Street in Kenton Sunday after receiving a report about skeletal remains that were found under a porch.

Crews worked through most of Sunday digging up the bones.

According to information from the Kenton Police Department, after an analysis, the bones were determined to be non human, but were that of an animal.

Several agencies assisted at the scene.
