The United Way of Hardin County reminds everyone that making a donation helps to support their 20 partner agencies.

One of the non-profit organizations that receive funding is the New Hope Ministry Park on West Pattison Avenue in Kenton.

It is the county’s only homeless shelter.

The United Way said that contributing just a dollar a week can make a big difference.

$52 a year will help the shelter with their toiletry bag budget.

The bags are provided to all new residents at the shelter.

Making a donation now is as easy as sending a text.

By texting the code HARDINUW to 44-321, you will be sent a secure link where you can donate.
