The meeting was called to order by President Laura Ferguson. Hostesses Jenny, Karen and Jessica were thanked for the snacks.
Sue Lohrbor introduced our speaker, Stephanie Epling from the Hardin County Title Department/Clerk of Courts. She informed us that she will be seeking election next year to the position currently held by our very own Carrie Haudenshield as she is not seeking re-election.
Stephanie spoke to us about passports and let us know that Hardin County Title Department is a passport issuance site. Passports can be renewed up to 5 years after expiration for adults. Processing time is normally 6-8 weeks unless you pay for expedited processing and then it is approximately 2-3 weeks.
Passport cards are good for land and sea travel only, not air. Passport books are good for land, sea and air travel.

Norma reported she will once again be collecting new socks and slippers to be donated to Helping Hands of Hardin County. These can be dropped off at HSLC (Home Savings & Loan) and Huntington Bank. These will be gathered up around December 20th.
Karen Kier brought up that Ridgemont School is opening early to allow kids to come in to shower and they are also able to bring in dirty clothes to be washed as the school has a washer & dryer. Bev Bahr will speak to her daughter-in-law who is the school nurse to see what their needs are and how we can help them.
Celebration of Women: Amy Aulthouse reported the date has been set for March 19, 2020. The price of tickets will be $20 for adults and $10 for students.
Care & Comfort: the group met and put together 111 personal care bags this past month. They did a trial of feminine hygiene products using small zipper cosmetic bags and it was a success.
If you have any such bags laying around (think Ipsysubscriptions) please bring those so we can continue to put together these bags for discreet hand out.
