Spar is 2023 Hardin County Fair Honoree

The 2023 Hardin County Fair honoree is Don Spar from Liberty Township.

Marketing and Communication Director Kolt Buchenroth said Spar is a worthy honoree, Don served on the board from 1989 to 2019, and we’ve always joked Don is our walking encyclopedia. He knew the rules so well, he practically had them memorized, and all we had to do was say, ‘Don what about this.’ From fair rules to the Ohio Revised Code rules, he was on top of it, so we’re excited to honor Don this year.”
