Kenton City Council’s 13th regular session of 2023 was kicked off with a short celebration of SRO Dan Foulk’s 25 year career with KPD. Police Chief Dennis Musser would even give Foulk some credit for helping him meet his wife during the ceremony. Foulk spent much of his career as a K9 handler but became Kenton City School’s first School Resource Officer. Chief Musser would say Officer Dan was perfect for the job because he is a people person. Chief Musser would also add he is hopeful Foulk will stick around to aid the transition in the program he helped shape. In closing comments council would express their thanks to SRO Foulk as well.

Elsewhere in the proceedings Ordinance 23-015 was passed with a vote of 6-0 this will allow for repair to Kenton’s water tower to the tune of $83,125. The repairs were recommended by the EPA after an inspection.
