Stephen Paul Stuard, age 64, of Houcktown, died at 9:45pm on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born in Findlay on September 26, 1956 to Herbert and Annetta (Trimble) Stuard. On June 29,
1980 he married Kolleen Schlatter and she survives along with two children, Chris (Kashonnah Wilson)Stuard of Findlay and Kristen (Richard) White of Ada. He is also survived by his parents, Herb Stuard of Arlington, Annetta Stuard of Findlay, brothers, Ed Stuard of Arlington, Tom Stuard of rural Findlay and four grandchildren; Shaqueal, Xander, Destayne and Malachi. Stephen was a 1975 graduate of Riverdale High School and retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeye fan, but most of all, he enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Kenton where he served as a decon. Stephen was very proud of his son Chris for serving in the U.S.
Navy and his grandson, Shaquel for serving in the U.S. Army. A funeral service will begin at 1:00pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington where the family will receive friends from 11:00am Wednesday until the time of service. Burial will follow in Houcktown Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Stephen to the First Baptist Church, Kenton.
