Suicide Prevention Coalition Hosting Dedication Ceremony at Grand Lake St. Mary’s

The Auglaize County Suicide Prevention Coalition and Prevention Awareness Support Services will be hosting a dedication ceremony at the Grand Lake St Mary’s Campground on Tuesday, September 29 at 10:00am.  

Permanent Purple “Stop Signs” which are suicide prevention signs highlighting the HOPEline number and text along with the national crisis number for active duty and veteran service members and their families, will be displayed.  

There are four additional signs that have been placed throughout the park with seven additional signs to be distributed throughout Auglaize County.  

The brief ceremony will take place underscoring the importance of county residents knowing local resources to save lives.  

Auglaize County lost 37 residents to suicide and 13 to overdose from 2014-2019.
