Summer Crisis Program Offers Aid for Electric Bills Starting Today

If you need help with your summer electric bill, the Summer Crisis Program is available July 1st through September 30th

Applicants must have households that are at or below 175% of the federal income guidelines that also meet one of the following requirements:

-A household member is 60 years of age or older; OR

-A member of the household has a medical necessary condition certified by a qualified medical professional; OR

-The household has an electricity disconnection notice, has been shut off, or new electric service has been established.

Eligible PIPP Plus customers can get help with a default PIPP Plus payment.  This program is also available to electric consumers of investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, and rural electric co-ops.
