A Findlay man was arrested following an incident over the weekend in the 800 block of West Trenton Avenue in Findlay.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched to a business in the area to investigate a report that a subject was assaulted with a golf club.

Upon arrival, officers located the suspect, who then put down the golf club, but allegedly started to reach into his pockets.

The man, identified as 38 year old Robert L. Lopez, refused orders to remove his hands from his pockets and was taken to the ground where he was subdued and taken into custody.

The victim sustained a head injury but refused treatment.
