Suspect Fires Gun at Findlay Officer After a Pursuit

A man who was wanted in Findlay after a pursuit in that city over the weekend was apprehended in Lucas County.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, an officer attempted to stop a vehicle in the 200 block of Western Avenue for numerous traffic violations, but the driver failed to stop.

A pursuit was initiated and ended after several miles in the 14,000 block of Township Road 218 in Van Buren.

The driver and two passengers fled on foot, and the driver, later identified as Arthur RC Hall III, fired a shot from a handgun at the officer, who was not injured.

The two passengers were later caught and detained.

Later on Saturday, Hall was driving a stolen vehicle and was involved in another pursuit in Lucas County, where he was apprehended and arrested.

The incident remains under investigation.
