Two area residents announced that after several years of hard work, their dreams of opening a farm distillery in Hardin County are about to come true.
Brad Bailey and Michael Kasler made the announcement on the Taylor Creek Distillery this week.
Built on the old Bailey farm, the distillery will be one of the few distilleries in the United States which will be making whiskey and other spirits from grains grown on their own farms.
They stated that they will only be using fresh grain to make whiskey, gin, vodka and other spirits.
They hope to begin distilling in late summer after the Rye crop is harvested.
