Technical Issues Cause Problems for Middlefield Bank Customers

Middlefield Bank reported that technical issues caused disruptions for customers.

According to a posting on the bank’s Facebook page, the issues limited in-branch transactions and ATMs were unavailable for several days beginning last week.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the bank announced that all in-branch and ATM services were fully restored including the former Liberty National Bank branches. 

The former Liberty customers’ transactions will begin appearing within 24-48 hours if not sooner. 

Customers were assured that overdraft charges resulting from the outage will be refunded.
