There were no injuries reported in a crash that occurred just before 6 Thursday evening on East Franklin Street at Jacob Parrott Boulevard.
According to the Kenton Police Department report, a pickup truck being driven by 35 year old Spenser Waller, of Alger, was eastbound on Franklin and slowed to around 20 miles an hour as he prepared to turn north onto Jacob Parrott.
17 year old Alexis Herzog, of Kenton, failed to notice the pickup slowing down and her car struck the rear of the vehicle.
Herzog stated that she fell asleep while driving.
Disabling damage occurred to the car, and it was towed from the scene.
Light damage occurred to the pickup.
Herzog was cited for assured clear distance ahead and full time attention violations.
