Teen Injured in Allen County Shooting Thursday Night

Detectives from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting in which a teenage male was injured Thursday night.

Here is the release from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office:

On Thursday, September 28, 2023 at approximately 11pm, an Allen County Sheriff’s Office deputy who was sitting stationary in the parking lot of Northland Plaza was alerted of a shooting that occurred in the 1700 block of Lucille Drive. It was learned that a 17 year old male was shot in the right leg. He was transported by EMS to St. Rita’s Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury.

This incident is being investigated by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau.
