Tennessee Man Following 3 County Pursuit

A Tennessee man was arrested after a pursuit on I75 Tuesday night.

 

According to a release from the Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Patrol, officers from the Toledo Police Department initiated a pursuit of a recreational vehicle being driven by a man with a felony warrant.

 

The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Patrol took over the pursuit which ended in Lima after three tires on the vehicle were deflated by spike strips set out by troopers from the Lima Post of the State Patrol.

 

Following a brief standoff, 38 year old Larry D. Keith Jr., of Maryville, Tennessee, was arrested and transported to Lima Memorial Hospital for evaluation of a medical condition. After his release, he was taken to the Wood County Justice Center, where he is being held on charges of failure to comply and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

 

The pursuit covered just over 60 miles and reached speeds of 80 miles an hour as it went through Wood, Hancock and Allen Counties.
