The theft of gasoline from Fuel Mart was reported to Kenton Police on Monday.
According to the report, officers were dispatched to the business in reference to a male who had pumped gasoline into a vehicle then drove off without paying.
An employee was able to get a license plate, which was registered to a resident in Findlay.
The Findlay Police Department advised that the vehicle was at the residence at the time they checked.
The incident is under investigation by the Kenton Police Department.
