Three Arrested in Lima After Task Force Investigation

Three Lima residents are facing drug related charges after an investigation conducted by the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force.

According to a release, the investigation was launched after they received complaints from residents and a business.

A narcotics transaction was viewed by investigators, which they say required immediate action to intervene. 

During the course of the search of the involved vehicle, approximately 5 grams of suspected crack cocaine was recovered. 

Investigators prepared and obtained a residential search warrant for 803 Brice Avenue in Lima.

Traffic stops were then conducted on the vehicles leaving the residence, resulting in several firearms being recovered from one vehicle, and suspected pharmaceutical pills from a second vehicle. 

aT the residence, one firearm, drug paraphernalia, pharmaceutical pills, and $16,000.00 U.S. Currency were located. 

The resident, 35 year old Eric T. Henry was arrested at the scene of the narcotics transaction.

26 year old Lydia M. Johnson was arrested on a traffic stop, after having left the residence and possessing the several firearms suspected to have come from within the residence. She was charged with Felony Tampering with Evidence.

36 year old Marvin L. Thomas Jr. was also arrested on a separate traffic stop for possessing pharmaceutical pills suspected to have come from within the residence. 

He’s been charged with Possession of Scheduled I or II Drugs.

Additional charges will be presented to the Allen County Grand Jury at a later date.
