Thursday Fair Numbers Up Over 2018 Figures

Great weather continued for day 3 of the Hardin County Fair which led to increased crowds compared to 2018.

 

Thursday’s paid gate was 1613. On Thursday of 2018 when the weather was hot and rain started in the evening, the paid gate was 967.

 

Overall estimated attendance yesterday was 9033, compared to 5415 last year.

 

283 people rook in afternoon harness racing Thursday, up slightly from 2018’s number of 244.

 

Evening harness racing attracted 399 people to the Grandstand, compared to 378 last year.

 

The Truck and Tractor Pull is the featured entertainment in the Grandstand tonight. That starts at 7.

 

The Exhibit Buildings close at 10, but the rides stop and fairgrounds close at 11 tonight.

 

The fair runs through this Sunday.
