The Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force along with Findlay Police Department Officers and Hancock County Sheriff’s Office Deputies handled a narcotics buy/ and drug bust in Findlay earlier this week.

On 9/27/2023 at approx. 2035 hrs., the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force along with Findlay Police Department Officers and Hancock County Sheriff’s Office Deputies handled a narcotic buy/ bust. This stems from an on-going investigation into a subject bringing down large amounts of methamphetamine from Toledo. The suspect was stopped and apprehended in the parking lot at Casey’s Convenience Store, 1403 N. Main St., Findlay.
The suspect in this case has brought down and sold methamphetamine 3 times during this investigation totaling over 258 grams (or 9.1 ounces). A total of $732 was seized from the suspect’s vehicle which included the money for this final buy.
As a result of the incident the following person was arrested and incarcerated at the Hancock County Justice Center:
Stacy M. Cieply (age 30)
914 Buffalo St.
Toledo, Ohio
Charge: Trafficking in Drugs – 1st Degree Felony
Additional charges of drug trafficking are expected at the conclusion of this investigation.
