Tornado Watch Issued for Hardin and Surrounding Counties

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for most of the listening area. It will be in effect until 400 AM (4/3/25) and includes Allen, Hardin, Hancock, Marion, Union, Wyandot, Auglaize, Logan and Shelby Counties.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue overnight before ending around 5am.

Some of the storms could be severe and produce heavy rainfall. Temperatures will be in the 60s.

It will also continue to be windy overnight, with gusts as high as 33 mph.

Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch are possible.

A flood watch also remains in effect from 8 PM this evening through Sunday morning. Soils remain moist and excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
