The Hardin County Commissioners approved the purchase of touchless faucets and toilets in public rooms at the Hardin County Courthouse.
Maintenance Supervisor Richard Lawson said the estimated cost of the handless flush for toilets, urinals and sink faucets at all locations is around $34,000.
The touchless feature was deemed necessary by the commissioners as a way to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Ordering and installation will be through Kully Supply.
