Traffic Stop Leads to Possible Drug Charges

A Kenton man is facing drug charges after a routine traffic stop was conducted Monday evening.

 

According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers stopped a car in the 400 block of South Wayne Street.

 

A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, and a passenger was found to be in possession of drugs.

 

Several drugs, including suspected heroin, were seized, and the 50 year old suspect is facing a charge of possession of drugs.

 

The driver of the car was cited for driving under suspension and a turn signal violation.
