True Armyworm and Black Cutworm Traps Set in Hardin County Fields
Hardin County OSU Extension announced last week that 3 True Armyworm and 3 Black Cutworm traps were set last week in Hardin County wheat and corn field locations.
The purpose is to monitor these crop pests for statewide OSU Extension research.
After the first week of insect trapping in Hardin County, 5 True Armyworm and 18 Black Cutworm moths were caught in 4 of 6 of the traps set.
