Two Arrested After a Drug Bust at Two Locations in Hardin County

Two people were arrested to start the weekend at two locations in Hardin County.

According to a release, the Hardin County Crime Task Force with the assistance of the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office and Hardin County Special Response Team executed search warrants simultaneously early Friday at 210 South Main Street in Dunkirk and in the 16,000 block of County Road 140, Kenton. 

The warrants were obtained following an extensive and on-going investigation. 

As a result, a 39-year-old male and a 33-year-old female were taken into custody. 

Charges are pending on the male for trafficking in and possession of narcotics and possession of drug abuse instruments. 

Charges related to narcotics possession and possession of drug abuse instruments are pending against the female.  

Both individuals were lodged in the Multi-County Correctional Center in Marion.  

Their names are not being released at this time.
