Two Arrested in Connection to School Threat in Logan County

An arrest has been made in connection to a threat made at a Logan County school last week.

 

WPKO Radio reported that 23 year old Austin Eshelman was identified as a possible suspect, and was arrested over the weekend at a home in West Liberty.

 

His mother, 42 year old Christie Eshelman was also arrested.

 

Both were charged with obstructing official business.

 

Logan County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Riverside School this past Thursday to investigate a threat mose that an 8th grader had a gun.

 

The building was on lock-down for around 45 minutes while a search was conducted, but nothing was found.

 

The threat was said to have been made on social media, and the incident remains under investigation.
