The American Red Cross is urging everyone to give blood to help ensure a blood supply as diverse as the patients who depend on it.
For a small percentage of the population, finding someone else with the same blood type can be difficult.
All blood types are needed.
There are two more blood drives scheduled in Hardin County in September.
They are in Kenton on Monday 28th and both are from noon until 6.
One is at the Kenton Moose Lodge and the other at First Baptist Church on County Road 175.
You can make an appointment by downloading the free Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit http://RedCrossBlood.org, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or enabling the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device.
