Two Crashes Reported in Hardin County Since Monday Night

A one vehicle crash occurred Monday night on State Route 235 at County Road 10 is being blamed on the weather.

 

According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by Brandon Pauley, of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, hydroplaned on the wet pavement. 

 

The vehicle ended up off the road where it overturned several times and came to rest in the ditch.

 

Pauley was not injured.

 

A crash was also reported at around 5:30 this morning on State Route 235 at State Route 67.

 

According to information from the Sheriff’s Office, the driver, identified as Douglas White, of Lakeview, was transported to the hospital.

 

Investigators are trying to determine if the crash was caused by a medical condition.

 

Both crashes remain under investigation.
