Two Injured in Wednesday Evening Crash on Lima Street

Two people were injured in a crash that occurred just before 6 Wednesday evening at the intersection of West Lima Street and Scott Avenue on the city’s west side.

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 38 year old Tonya Farley, of Kenton, was at the red blinking light on Scott and attempted to turn left onto Lima.

 

Her car was struck by a westbound truck being operated by 63 year old Rickie Bolen, of Kenton.

 

Disabling damage occurred to the car, and moderate damage to the truck.

 

Farley and a passenger in her car, 26 year old Ryan Engle, of Kenton, both received suspected serious injuries.

 

Bolen was not injured. 

 

BKP was on the scene, but the report does not list a hospital transport.

 

Farley was cited for a red light violation.
