Two People Injured in Wednesday Morning Crash South of Ada

A McGuffey woman was among two people injured in a crash that occurred Wednesday morning at the intersection of State Routes 235 and 309.

 

According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Shari Thielen drove from 235 onto 309, and her vehicle was struck by a box truck being operated by Russell Vangundy, of Ohio City, Ohio.

 

Heavy damage occurred to both vehicles, and the drivers were both transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

 

Citations are pending, and the crash remains under investigation.

 

The Ada Police Department, fire departments from Ada and Alger, Ada EMS and Minnich’s Towing all assisted at the scene.
