Two Hardin County Sheriff’s Deputies were commended over the weekend for assisting in saving an injured bald eagle.

Deputies Issac Woltz and Austin Carey assisted Crows Hollow Wildlife Care in helping get the injured bird to safety.

The group said it was immediately apparent that the officers have great compassion for animals.

They added that they are always grateful for the help and safety they provide during roadside rescues.

The Crows Hollow team has a combined 48 years experience in rescuing and rehabilitating native Ohio wildlife.
