On its Facebook page, the United Way of Hardin County will be highlighting in-house programs they run.
First up is 2-1-1, a phone hotline that connects callers to a social services resource professional.
If you have a question about food insecurities, rent, utilities, childcare, veteran services or more, you can call 2-1-1 to speak to a real person about services in the county.
2-1-1 is operated through a partnership with the Mental Health and Recovery Board.
You can choose to support 2-1-1, by marking it as a program of support on your pledge to the United Way.
