An Upper Sandusky man was arrested after an accident Monday evening in Wyandot County.
According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, 41 year old Eric Shackelford lost control of his vehicle while driving east on County Highway 330.
The vehicle traveled off the road and came to rest in the ditch.
While investigating the crash, a deputy discovered that Shackelford had an active warrant out of Upper Sandusky.
He was arrested on the warrant and was also cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under suspension and failure to control.
During a search of the vehicle, the deputy found a crystal like substance which was believed to be methamphetamine.
The suspected drug was seized as evidence.
The incident remains under investigation.
