USDA Dairy Margin Coverage Program Open

Dairy producers are being reminded that 2021 enrollment for the Dairy Margin Coverage Program opened today and will run through December 11.

The U.S. The Department of Agriculture program offers protection to dairy producers when the difference between the all milk price and the average feed cost falls below a certain dollar amount selected by the producer.

USDA also has enhanced the dairy decision tool to help producers select the appropriate level of coverage.
