A student at Upper Scioto Valley, and a member of Boy Scout Troop 124 in Ada, came up with the idea to complete a Hardin County Law Enforcement Memorial.

Jadon Holbrook is working to earn his Eagle Scout rank, and the project is part of the process.

He talks about when and how he came up with the idea, “I went to DC with the church group last year, and we went to the National Police Wall, and my dad pointed out several of the fallen officers from our county. There are seven, and I asked him, ‘Is there anything back our way?,’ and he said no. I thought ‘we need to fix that right away,’ so that’s when I started to put that plan in motion to get it set up and done.”

For the complete discussion, tune in Public Eye, Saturday morning at 7:30 and Sunday at noon on WKTN.
