Vernon L. Clark age 82 of Mt. Blanchard died Tue. Sept. 8, 2020 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born Dec. 4, 1937 to the late Ernest & Faye (Switzer) Clark.
Mr. Clark married Margaret A. Decker on Oct. 13, 1956 and she survives. He is also survived by his children Leroy (Jenny) Clark, Carey, Deanna Conley, Carey, Ed (June) Clark, Mt. Blanchard, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law Danny Conley, and 2 brothers Ernest & David Clark.
He graduated from Mt. Blanchard High School with class of 1955. Mr. Clark worked for United Aircraft Products in Forest for 38 years. He also enjoyed working with his son at Clark’s Saw Mill. Mr. Clark was a life member of Tri-State, and member of NOAMA, and SCRAP. He enjoyed collecting and restoring antique tractors, and was proud of his large collection especially the Farmall tractors.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM Fri Sept. 11, 2020 at Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Denny Livingston officiating. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Sept. 10, 2020 from 4:00-7:00PM at Clark Shields Funeral Home and an hour before the funeral service. Interment will be held at Jackson Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Care of Hancock County and US Renal Care, in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S. Patterson St. Forest, OH 45843.
