Victims of Halloween Day Plane Crash Near Marion Identified

A Findlay man was among two men killed in a plane crash that occurred on October 31 near Marion.

Over the weekend, the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol identified 71 year old Hal E. Durbin as the left front seat occupant, and the right front seat occupant was identified as 70 year old William J. David, of Bowling Green.

The single engine Plane crashed into a bean field around nine miles southwest of the Marion Municipal Airport.

The National Transportation Safety Board was notified and the incident remains under investigation.
