Walmart Bomb Threat Suspect Appeared in Municipal Court

A man suspected of phoning in a bomb threat to Kenton’s Walmart last week made an initial appearance in Hardin County Municipal Court Monday.

 

Bond for Paul T. Keen was set at $1500 cash or surety.

 

Special terms of the bond is that Keen is to stay out of Walmart.

 

A hearing has been set for August 31.

 

Keen was charged with inducing panic after he allegedly called the store with the bomb threat August 20

 

Employees and customers were evacuated and the Allen County Bomb Squad, using bomb sniffing dogs, conducted a search but nothing was found.

 

Keen was arrested at his residence in Kenton less than a half hour later.
