Wapakoneta Edges Kenton 21-20

The Wapakoneta Redskins defeated the Kenton Wildcats 21-20 in Western Buckeye League football action Friday at Robinson Field.

The Redskins improve to 1-4 while the Wildcats slip to 3-2.

Zac Swaney rushed for two touchdowns for Kenton while Jacob Eversole had 160 yards receiving with one touchdown and was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game.

The Cats travel to Ottawa-Glandorf Friday to take on the Titans. WKTN will carry the game live, with the pregame show starting at 6:30 p.m. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
