Wapakoneta Police Department Cancels National Night Out Event

The Wapakoneta Police Department has cancelled their annual National Night Out event in August.  

According to a Facebook posting, after careful consideration they felt it was best to cancel not only for the health and safety of residents but also to give sponsors a break from assisting financially.

This event wouldn’t be possible without the support from area businesses and service organizations.  

The Police Department looks forward to next year’s NATIONAL NIGHT which is scheduled for August 3rd, 2021.
