Warriors for Dogs invites the public to share love and affection for the dogs at the Hardin County Shelter.
Opportunities include walking and bathing the dogs.
The organization is also raising funds to cover adoption fees and make improvements to the shelter.
In 2025, they plan to raise funds to build a larger, more self-sufficient facility.
As of this morning (12/9/24), Warriors for Dogs stated there are currently twenty-two dogs that are in need of their forever home. They are urging anyone interested in adopting a new furry friend to come and meet the dogs. They stated that the dogs are vet checked, chipped, and spayed/neutered. They also come with their Hardin County dog tag, a new collar and a toy.
If you are interested in helping volunteer or donating, please contact Warriors for Dogs on Facebook. They also have pictures and videos of some of the dogs that are up for adoption on their page.
For questions or more information on adoptions, please call the Hardin County Dog Warden at (419) 674-2209.
