Water Shut-Off Planned for Kenton’s 2nd Ward Wednesday

There will be a water shut-off for some Kenton residents Wednesday evening.

According to a release from Safety service Director Cindy Murray, water will be shut off in the 2nd Ward of Kenton on the east side of Main Street and both sides of Columbus Street.

That will start at 7 Wednesday evening.

The water is expected to be back on by Thursday morning, and a Boil Water Advisory will then go into effect in that area and will last until further notice.

Two shut-off valves are being replaced at the intersections of Oriental and Summit and Superior and Summit.

Others may notice a reduction in water pressure.
