Water Valves to be Repaired in Kenton’s 4th Ward Thursday Night

The City of Kenton is planning to repair two valves on South Leighton Street Thursday evening.

They plan to begin working at 11 tomorrow evening.  

The repairs should be completed by 8 Friday morning.  

Only residents in the 4th ward south of the river, north of Espy Street and west of the old railroad will be affected.  

During the shutdown, the residents in the affected area will have little to no water pressure.  

A boil water advisory will be in effect for these residents only following the repairs until further notice.
