A Marion City School bus was involved in a crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon on Delaware Avenue in Marion.
According to a release from the Marion Police Department, the bus was traveling south on Delaware when a northbound vehicle being operated by 70-year-old David Crowe, of Prospect, turned left into its path resulting in a collision.
Crowe and 17 passengers on the bus suffered varying degrees of injuries, but none were life-threatening.
They were all transported to Marion General Hospital.
Administrators from Marion City Schools were on scene to assist with the investigation and to facilitate parental notifications and student reunification.
Crowe was cited for failure to yield at an intersection.
